Design in response to how you live

Studio Palindrome is the Austin practice of Hannah Griffiths, an NCIDQ-certified interior designer who came to the field after a career in advertising, a Master's in Interior Design from UT Austin, and formative years at Gensler and award-winning residential architecture studios.

That architectural training shapes everything here. Good design, Hannah believes, is always done in response to something — the architecture, the site, a treasured piece of art, even the daily rituals of the people who live there. No room is created in a vacuum.

The result is a full-service studio built on a methodical, genuinely enjoyable process: refined, relaxed homes that are considered down to the last fixture yet made entirely for real life.

A relaxed 30-minute conversation to get to know each other and talk through your project's scope and timing.

    Vision & Concept

We define the layout and aesthetic direction for each space, aligning on a look before the details begin.

  3. 03

    Design Development

The heads-down phase — selecting materials and products, gathering samples and building visualizations.

  4. 04

    Documentation & Purchasing

Finalized construction drawings, ordered materials and furniture, plus site visits at key milestones.

  5. 05

    Installation

Final placement of furniture, art and styling — the reveal that brings the whole vision home.

FAQ

Answers to common questions

Five phases: a Discovery Chat to align on scope and timing; Vision & Concept to set the layout and aesthetic; Design Development to select materials and build visualizations; Documentation & Purchasing for construction drawings and ordering; and Installation, where furniture, art and styling come together.

A Master's in Interior Design from UT Austin and a background in commercial architecture at Gensler bring real rigor to the work. Hannah is methodical and organized by nature — and equally committed to keeping the design process fun.

Based in Austin and serving Westlake, Tarrytown, Bryker Woods and out through Dripping Springs and the Hill Country. Select nationwide projects are welcome as well.

Every project is scoped individually. Interior design is a luxury — not because it's extravagant, but because it saves time and avoids costly mistakes. We'll talk budget and fee structure openly during your discovery chat.

It means the whole space: the floorplan, building materials, wall treatments, light fixtures, custom cabinetry and millwork, window treatments, furnishings, art and accessories — managed from concept through installation.

NCIDQ certification is the industry's highest standard for interior designers, earned by passing comprehensive exams covering building codes, accessibility and professional ethics — assurance your project is in qualified hands.
